Affiliations and Affiliates

Barnet Muslim Forum is not a part of any organisation and prides itself on its neutrality. It is not linked to any Islamic organisation or any political party, although it is a member of the Muslim Council of Britain and the Barnet Voluntary Services Council.

We are open to membership from individuals and organisations. In order to work effectively and efficiently we do request a membership payment of £15 per annum.

The Benefits of Membership for Organisations

All Islamic organisations are invited to liaise with the Barnet Muslim Forum in order to ensure that more Muslims are aware of their activities and hence are able to support their respective projects. Communication can greatly improve efficiency and we are committed to developing the infrastructure of the Muslim Community in Barnet.

They can also have a direct say in the issues that the Barnet Muslim Forum tackles and gain support from other organisations and influential people within the borough.

We can also help to raise funds to acquire religious and cultural centres that are so desperately needed.

The Benefits of Membership for Individuals

All Muslims residing or operating businesses within the boundaries of Barnet are welcome to join the Barnet Muslim Forum. The benefits of membership of the Barnet Muslim Forum would allow:

1. Great Networking Opportunities – A chance to meet the community leaders and activists in the Barnet area

2. Discounts for some events or activities organised by Barnet Muslim Forum

3. Priority places at some future courses, seminars or other activities with limited places
